Classic Stripes

Good morning guys and happy weekend!

Finally some outfit photos! The weather has been playing with us lately but as long as the sun is out, I don't care if it's windy or not. So yesterday I went for something casual with some of my long time favorite pieces - stripes shirt! Goes perfect with everything and anything. Timeless! To jazz it up I mixed it with my DIY trash jeans, a man's wear blazer (I added the golden buttons), a pair of mesh sandals and clubmaster sunglasses. Simple and fresh, with edgy details. Favorite all time combination! 

Later today I'll be meeting with a friend to talk about some future projects.

AND, today is Portugal first FIFA World Cup game, a friendly game, but it's still a game!

Lately on Marie Roget

Hello, sweeties!

Time is a thing that is not on my side! The day should have 48 hours so that I could do everything I have planned and still have sometime to rest. And I'm a week away from my thesis presentation (I know I've talking about this for quite some time but the university just wouldn't speed up the process) and I super excited! Cannot wait to end this chapter of my life and start a new one. 

And yes, I've taken outfit photos today but I'll post them tomorrow. Meanwhile I want to share a recap of what I've been wearing lately. I tend to be more active on Instagram (and for those who don't, here's the link), so stay tuned for more updates. And don't forget to follow me on Facebook!

Hello there, guys!

I gotta end this radio silence on the blog, but I have so much to do, some finished business to take care off that I tend to leave the blog to second place. But it can't happened!

I'll be posting outfit photos soon on the blog and continuing with the other inspirational post I used to do.

Now, I can honestly say that I've been brain-washed by another fashion trend! When the bio flats first appeared my first thought was like "c'mon, really?" but after seeing other bloggers styling this hippie-easygoing-casual flats with everything you can put on (trust me, they look good with any outfit!) I decided to give them a second chance. And, oh boy, if I gave them! The thing is, which one to buy? Black, white or brown? Of course my first impulse goes to the black ones, specially the one from Stradivarius 'cause it has that rustic vibe with the cork sole and the minimal with the buckles. But I also love those with the embellishment on top - match it with a pair of ripped dark jeans, a black/white V neck t-shirt, a bag pack and you will look perfect!

Hey lovely people!

How's your Saturday so far? In a few moments I'm getting ready to go out and watch a dear friend's performance later tonight. And I'm so happy my phone is working again! That's the reason why I haven't been posting anything on Instagram ('cause I wanted to keep the quality and style and for that I decided to post nothing until the phone was back on). 

Talking about these photos: they were taken by a close friend who's a freelancer photographer (you can check his Facebook Page for more details and to see the rest of his work) in some different places of our hometown. We took the term "Street Style" and mixed it with the clean minimal shape of the outfit plus rustic and historical lines of the city. 

I decided to mix classic pieces with a bikini top, which gave a small detail to the look. A clean look, as always.
