HEY! I'm back! I'm so sorry for the long silence here on the blog. We were in Porto for a coulpe of days and also on Sunday with Ana Teresa Miranda. Of course I have tones of photos to show you! This post was suppose to go online on Sunday, but with all the mess and rush of Sunday afternoon, I ended up not posting it. I decided to post something different. Today is about my style, what inspires me and the changes I've made on my closet since the beginning of this year. You all know that I love basics, you can have endless options and outfit combinations with basics. All you need is a good base like jeans, a leather jacket, denim shirt, white shirt, black and grey shirt, cotton knits, and of course black shoes (loafers, ballerinas shoes and high heels) and you have a cool and casual chic closet. I've made a huge closet cleaning and now looks pretty much like these inspirations I've put together for you. It is what inspires me and keeps me on track and to not buy the first thing I find awesome.

HEY! Estou de volta, pessoal! Desculpem a brutal ausência aqui no blog. Estivemos no Porto e, também lá estiver no Domingo com a Ana Teresa Miranda e com o Luís. Claro que tenho imensas fotos para vos mostrar! Este post era para ter sido publicado no Domingo, mas com toda a confusão e pressa desse dia, acabei por não o fazer. Decidi partilhar algo diferente. Hoje é sobre o meu estilo, o que me inspira e as mudanças que fiz no meu closet no inicio deste ano. Vocês já sabem que adoro básicos, pois existem opções infinitas outfits com básicos. Tudo o que precisam é uma boa base tal como jeans, um casaco de cabedal, camisa de ganga, camisa branca, camisa preta e cinzenta, malhas de algodão e claro sapatos pretos (loafers, sabrinas e salto alto), e têm um closet casual, chic e cool. Fiz uma limpeza enorme ao meu roupeiro e agora está muito semelhante a estas inspirações que estou a partilhar com vocês. É algo que me inspira e que me mantém no caminho certo e que evita que eu compre a primeira peça que ache brutal.
A few years ago I wore a lot of short skirts, but now most of them are long gone. I'm 200% fan of midi skirts and dresses, either they be pencil or flare, cotton or leather. I still love a good black short dress (I still have a few, hehe), but midi dresses are super elegant and they go perfect with everything! The same goes for the skirts. So, besides two short skirts, the rest of my collection is all midi length. It's all about keeping it classic but modern at the same time with minimal silhouettes.

Há uns anos atrás usava bastante saias curtas, mas agora muitas delas já foram à vida. Sou fã a 200% de vestidos e saias de comprimento midi, sejam elas justas ou rodadas, em algodão ou em pele. Ainda continuo com alguns dos meus vestidos pretos curtos, mas vestidos de comprimento midi são super elegantes e combinam com tudo! O mesmo posso afirmar em relação às saias. Tirando duas saias mais curtas, o resto é tudo midi. O truque é manter sempre o clássico mas com um toque moderno através de silhuetas minimalistas.
And of course, nothing beats a good pair of black jeans/pants. Black leather, black denim, black suit pants... whatever type of them, black is always a good choice. Combine them with a good structured blazer, or a camel coat, a big knit, or just a white shirt and you have the perfect outfit. Add heels, sneakers or flats and you're just on point and ready to go. It's all so flawless that is insane! And so cheap to buy as well (minus the shoes, of course!!!), that all you have to keep in mind is what you really really want to wear and stick to your style. Make a similar collage, print it and use it as inspiration. If you wear what you love, you'll feel amazing with yourself, your body and it will reflect on your posture and personality. You'll be a whole! The power of a good outfit can make wonders, trust me.

E claro, nada bate um bom par de calças/jeans pretos. Cabedal preto, ganga preta, calças de fato pretas... seja qual for o tipo de calça, preto é sempre uma óptima escolha. Combinem com um bom blazer cintado, ou um sobretudo camel, uma malha grande ou apenas uma t-shirt branca e têm o outfit perfeito. Adicionem saltos, ou loafers ou até ténis e estão no ponto para sair de casa. É tudo tão perfeito que seja a ser de loucos! E tão barato de adquirir (menos sapatos, haha!) que apenas devem ter em conta o que realmente gostam e manterem-se fiéis ao vosso estilo. Façam uma colagem semelhante, imprimam e usem-na para se inspirarem. Se vestirem o que gostam, vão-se sentir super bem com vocês próprios e com o vosso corpo, e isso irá ser reflectido na vossa postura e personalidade. Vão-se sentir completos! Nunca subestimem o poder de um bom outfit. Faz maravilhas, acreditem!
