So, mom jeans! I admit, is my favorite type of jeans. I would love to have every piece I've selected for this post, hehe. But I have similar pairs (bought from previous seasons). I've decided to put together My Top 8 Mom Jeans as one of my Key Pieces for any closet. Topshop has the coolest budget jeans! They are very similar to Levis and they're cut is super classic and simple. But if you don't like to buy online, Stradivarius and Pull&Bear has some cool pairs as well. It's a type of jeans you can dress up with everything and you'll still look cool and effortless chic. I have the dark blue, a ripped pair, the light denim and medium denim nº 5. What's your favorite pair of jeans?

Portanto, "mom jeans"! Eu admito, é o meu estilo de calças de ganga favorito. Adoraria ter um par de cada desta selecção que fiz, hehe. Mas tenho semelhantes (comprados em seasons anteriores). Decidi criar o meu My Top 8 Mom Jeans como uma das minhas Key Pieces para qualquer closet. Topshop tem as mais fixes! São muito parecidas com as Levis e têm um corte super clássico e simples. Mas se não gostarem de comprar online, podem ver a Stradivarius e a Pull&Bear pois têm jeans bem brutais. É um tipo de jeans que podem vestir de qualquer e estarem sempre cool e "effortless chic". Tenho umas em ganga escura, umas rasgadas, ganga clara e ganga média como o nº5. Quais são as vossas favoritas?

Hey, hey! Sorry for the silence these last couple of days. Sunday was my last day in Barcelos and yesterday Luís and I took the bus (or buses) to Évora. But I'm back to my routine. So, for those who have been following me, know my love for a good pair of jeans specially when they are ripped. It's one of my key pieces for anytime of the year. These are a few imagens from Asos just to show you how cool and stylish a pair of these jeans can be. I love to combine mine or with heels or with flats, preferably black. What is you favorite pair of jeans?

Hey, hey! Desculpem o silêncio neste últimos dois dias. Domingo foi o meu último dia em Barcelos e ontem o Luís e eu apanhámos o autocarro (ou os autocarros) para Évora. Mas já estou de volta a minha rotina. Então, para aqueles que me seguem a algum tempo, sabem o quanto adoro um bom par de jeans, especialmente quando estão rasgadas. É umas das minhas peças-chaves para qualquer altura do ano. Estas são algumas imagens do site Asos para vos mostrar o quanto brutais e estilosas podem ser estes jeans. Pessoalmente, adoro combiná-los com salto alto ou com sabrinas/loafers. De preferência pretos. Qual é o vosso par favorito?

KEY PIECES #3 - MIDI DRESS

One of my key pieces for this Fall season is the midi dress, short or long sleeve with little to no neckline. But since Summer here in Alentejo tends to go almost until October I have a few round neckline options in short sleeve (just in case!). Neutral shades but with the khaki/green army making a comeback this season I may think in adding a piece on that color (maybe not a dress, but a shirt or so). And yes, I tend to shop always in the same stores: Zara, Mango, Bershka e Stradivarius. They always offer what I want and look for. Of course I shop at other stores, but these three and my favorites. Tips to style a midi dress? It's quite simple actually! Since it's a one piece, you can just add a leather jacket, a blazer or a denim jacket, if you're in the mood for a trench you can wear it with the dress as well. About footwear, I'm a flats and loafers kind of girl so I would for sure add a pair of black pointy laced (or not laced) flats to the dress. But you can wear sneakers with it, it will look super cool, that's for sure! And bags? Just put your favorite and you're ready to go! What do you think of this piece?

Uma das minhas peças favoritas para este Outuno é o vestido de comprimento midi, de manga curta ou comprida com pouco decote. Mas já que o Verão aqui no Alentejo tem tendência a durar quase até Outubro, tenho algumas opções com decote e manga curta debaixo de olho (por precaução, hehe!). Tons neutros mas com algum khaki/verde exército a voltar esta estação decidi tentar adicionar uma peça dessa cor (talvez não um vestido, mas uma camisa ou outra peça). E sim, eu tendo sempre a comprar nas mesmas lojas: Zara, Mango, Bershka e Stradivarius. Oferecem sempre aquilo que eu quero e procuro. É claro que compro noutras lojas, mas estas são as minhas favoritas. Dicas para vestir um vestido midi? Na verdade, é super simples! Já que é uma peça única, podem apenas adicionar um casaco de cabedal, um blazer ou um blusão de ganga, e se estiverem na disposição de usarem uma trench, que assim seja! Sobre o calçado, eu sou uma rapariga de flats e loafers portanto eu usaria umas sabrinas "laced" ou normais mas pontiagudas, mas se usarem uns ténis com o vestido vai ficar tão ou mais cool! E malas? This is my all time favorite piece! So versatile and classic... You can wear it with sneakers, heels, loafers, ballerinas shoes, sandals and it will always look on point. It can be a fitted tube skirt, flared, side cut, leather skirt but no matter what it's a must-have piece on your closet. Even if you don't like the classic knee high cut, it can be shorter. A classic that never goes out of style!

Esta é sem dúvida a minha peça favorita! Tão versátil e clássica... Pode ser usada com ténis, salto alto, loafers, sabrinas, sandálias e estará sempre perfeita. Pode ser uma saia tubo bem justinha, com roda, com corte lateral, saia em pele mas seja qual for o modelo é uma peça must-have no closet. E mesmo que não gostem do corte até ao joelho, há versões mais curtas. Um clássico que nunca passará de moda!

Happy Wednesday! Today I'm creating a new category on my blog called "My Key Pieces". Some people my think I spend a lot of money on clothing when the fact is that I don't. As a basics lover, I tend to choose the perfect pieces, with the perfect shape, so that they can last a long time. And my first selection goes to the timeless white t-shirt. I have 4 with different cuts and materials and I use them either in Summer or in Winter (under a knit sweater). They go perfect with everything! Super casual and chic no matter your outfit. Mix it with jeans, high waist pants, skirts, shorts... hell, even with bikinis it will look good! Am I right? Always have one in your closet.

Boa Quarta-feira! Hoje crio uma nova categoria no blog denominada "My Key Pieces". Algumas pessoas pensam que gasto imenso dinheiro em roupa mas a verdade é que não gasto. E como uma amante de básicos, eu tendo a escolher as peças perfeitas, com o corte perfeito, de modo a durarem imenso tempo. E a minha primeira selecção vai para a clássica t-shirt branca. Tenho 4 de cortes e materiais diferentes e uso-as tanto no Verão como no Inverno (debaixo de uma blusa de malha). Combinam perfeitamente com tudo! Super casual e chique independentemente do vosso outfit. Combinem com jeans, calças de cintura subida, saias, calções... bem, até com bikinis ficam bem. Não é? Tenham sempre uma no nosso closet.
